Research for Population Health

"There should be no research without service."

Tim Aubry proposed five principles of research that contributes to population health

  1. The research question should be defined by community needs
  2. There should be an exchange of resources between researchers and the community
  3. Research should have an impact and be a tool for social action
  4. Evaluating social action is an ethical imperative
  5. Community research yields products that are useful to society.
