Research for Population Health
"There should be no research without service."
Tim Aubry proposed five principles of research that contributes to population health
- The research question should be defined by community needs
- There should be an exchange of resources between researchers and the community
- Research should have an impact and be a tool for social action
- Evaluating social action is an ethical imperative
- Community research yields products that are useful to society.
